The Dashboard is your home base — it answers "what does today look like?" the moment you log in.
What's on it
- Today's Arrivals — guests expected to check in today, with their balance due.
- Today's Departures — guests due to leave; overdue stays are highlighted in red.
- Room status chart — how many rooms are available, occupied, dirty, or out of service right now.
- Revenue — Last 7 Days — daily takings from checked-out stays.
- Booking sources — where reservations come from (Walk-in, Online, agencies…).
Finding your way around
- The sidebar is grouped by job: Front Desk, Operations, Revenue, Website & Marketing, Settings.
- You only see the sections your role is allowed to use — a housekeeper's sidebar is shorter than a manager's.
- The ? button in the top bar opens Help & guides: browse this Help Center,
replay the walkthrough of the sidebar, or see what's new. A few busy screens — the Calendar, the
Check-in queue, the sale screen, Reservations and the reports — also offer Tour this page.
Your staff accounts
A new installation has exactly one login: the administrator account created when the system was set up.
Everyone else you add yourself under Staff & Roles — each person gets their own account and a
role that decides what they see, so a housekeeper's sidebar is a fraction of a manager's.
Give every member of staff their own login. Two things in this system are only meaningful
if you do: the activity log, which records who did what, and the shift cash count, which holds one named
person responsible for one drawer. A shared login makes both of them worthless on the day you need them.
Before non-admin staff can change anything (check someone in, take a payment), they need an open
shift — that's the very next topic. Administrators are exempt, which is a convenience for the owner and a
reason not to run the front desk on the admin account.
